Skills for Life: Graduation June 2026

In May, 11 parents were successful at interview for Skills for Life Clerical and Education Business Assistant posts. They went on to spend five weeks in June at college participating in a course specifically designed to prepare them for their upcoming placements. They all completed the course gaining a PC Passport and Internet Safety qualification. The parents are all looking forward to starting at the end of August, where they will go on to complete an SVQ Level 2 in Business and Admin during their placement.

We are recruiting a further nine parents to work as Education Business Assistants in school offices and Clerical Assistants, to work in North Ayrshire Council offices.
