Working for You
Working for You provides training and employment opportunities for unemployed people of all ages to prepare and progress to sustainable employment. No matter your age, if you are keen to secure employment, we will work for you!
Dedicated support is also available for those with convictions, so you don't have to worry about this excluding you.
The Equal Programme
The Equal Programme supports people who face additional barriers to work to access fair, inclusive, and sustainable employment.
We provide tailored support for people who face barriers to work, including disabled people and those with long-term health conditions. Support is personalised around individual strengths and goals. We work with partners and employers to remove barriers, build confidence, and create routes into training, employment, and progression. Our focus is on fair access to work that supports long-term wellbeing.
Working for Young People
In North Ayrshire, we have a range of opportunities to help young people prepare and progress to employment.
You can drop into a Youth Hub for friendly support, explore Modern Apprenticeships, or set goals through an Ambition Agreement. If you need a boost to get started, the Personal Recruitment Incentive and First Steps for care-experienced young people can help open doors. We also work with Barnardo’s and Street League to offer coaching, confidence-building and real opportunities. Whatever route you choose, we are here to help you move forward.
Positive Pathways
Positive Pathways, delivered by TACT, is a free, 12-week employability programme for unemployed people over 16 living in North Ayrshire.
The programme helps people build confidence and prepare for employment through supported volunteering opportunities.
No matter where you are in your employment journey, Positive Pathways will equip you with the skills and mindset needed for lasting, positive change.
Working for Families
