Beith Trust: Employability
Beith Trust Employability programme supports unemployed individuals across North Ayrshire to develop the skills, experience and confidence needed to move into employment, training or further education.
Delivered twice weekly, the programme combines employability training, practical work experience, accredited learning and personalised support to help participants achieve sustainable positive outcomes.
The programme is open to unemployed individuals in North Ayrshire looking to improve their skills, gain experience and take positive steps towards employment, education or training.
What you'll gain
- Employability skills including CV writing, job applications, interview preparation and workplace expectations
- Personal development and confidence-building through practical hands-on experiences and group learning
- Accredited qualifications including Glasgow University Activate, REHIS Food Hygiene, Emergency First Aid and other industry-recognised training:
- Real work experience and volunteering opportunities within Beith Trust enterprises, including Hospitality, Childcare, Business Administration, Community Festivals and Events and Environmental and Community Projects
Individual support
Participants receive tailored support throughout the programme, including:
- one-to-one guidance and progress reviews
- help to overcome personal and practical barriers
- childcare support where appropriate
- travel assistance
- financial guidance and signposting
- support to progress into employment, training or education
