Barnardo's Works is an established service with an excellent track record and many years experience of working with young people.

The service equips some of the most disaffected and disadvantaged young people with the skills, experience and opportunities to access independent, sustainable employment. It effectively addresses issues at the root of social exclusion and assists young people to overcome disadvantage and the impact of poverty. Young people who access the service are aged 16 to 24 years and many are resident in some of the most deprived communities.

We support young people to gain the skills they need to enter the world of work by providing advice and advocating for them. We focus on increasing children and young people's confidence, resilience and self-esteem through employment, work experience, volunteering, educational opportunities and qualifications so they are able to thrive.
